The Drug Enforcement Units of the Davao del Norte Police Provincial Office (DNPPO) conducted multiple successful anti-drug operations over two consecutive days, leading to significant arrests and the confiscation of illegal drugs.

From 6:00 AM on January 9, 2025, to 6:00 AM on January 10, 2025, a single operation resulted in the arrest of one individual and the seizure of 0.221 grams of shabu. Following this, from 6:00 AM on January 10, 2025, to 6:00 AM on January 11, 2025, two additional operations were carried out, leading to the arrest of two individuals and the confiscation of 1.82 grams of shabu.

The combined efforts of the DNPPO’s Drug Enforcement Units demonstrate the police force’s unwavering commitment to combating illegal drug activities in Davao del Norte. PCOL Alexander R. Serrano Jr., the Provincial Director, commended the operating units for their dedication and success in these missions.

“Pulis DavNor will never rest so long as there are illegal drug peddlers in Davao del Norte,” PCOL Serrano affirmed. He also called on the public to continue supporting law enforcement efforts by providing critical information that could lead to more successful operations.

In addition to seeking public cooperation, PCOL Serrano urged parents to remain vigilant in monitoring their children to protect them from the influence of illegal drugs. “Together, we can create a safer and drug-free community,” he added.
