In a decisive move to combat illegal drug activities, operatives from the Sultan Kudarat Police Provincial Office (SKPPO), under the leadership of Acting Provincial Director PCOL Bernard L. Lao, successfully conducted search warrant operations in Barangay San Roque and Barangay Kanipaan, Palimbang. The operations resulted in the arrest of two Street-Level Individuals (SLIs) and the confiscation of shabu worth ₱74,800.
The first operation occurred at around 3:00 AM in Barangay San Roque, where authorities raided the residence of a suspect identified as alias “Rick Boy Tuyoc.” During the search, police recovered a large heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing 5 grams, with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of ₱34,000.
At about 4:30 AM, a second operation was carried out in Purok Pag-asa, Barangay Kanipaan. This led to the arrest of another suspect known as alias “Prok Prok.” Police seized two large heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 6 grams, valued at ₱40,800, along with various drug paraphernalia.
Both suspects and the confiscated evidence were taken to the Palimbang Municipal Police Station for documentation and further legal procedures.
PCOL Lao commended the dedication of the operatives in executing the successful anti-drug operations. He reaffirmed SKPPO’s commitment to eliminating illegal drugs in the province, stating, “These operations reflect our unwavering resolve to make Sultan Kudarat a drug-free community. We will continue to intensify our campaign against illegal drugs to protect our citizens and ensure the safety of our neighborhoods.”
The SKPPO remains steadfast in its mission to dismantle the illegal drug trade and hold accountable those involved in such activities.
