KALILANGAN, Bukidnon — Authorities seized nearly half a million pesos worth of suspected shabu and arrested two alleged drug personalities during a joint anti-illegal drug operation conducted in Kalilangan, Bukidnon.

The operation was carried out by personnel of the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station (MPS) under the leadership of Officer-in-Charge PCPT Teresita L. Manejero, in coordination with the Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), the Bukidnon 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), and the 1003rd Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10 (RMFB-10).
The joint operation was conducted at Purok 2, Central Poblacion, Kalilangan, resulting in the arrest of two male suspects, both of legal age, believed to be involved in the illegal drug trade.
Authorities confiscated approximately 72.80 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of ₱495,040.00, dealing another significant blow to the illegal drug network operating in the municipality.
The seized illegal drugs have been submitted for proper inventory and documentation as evidence.
Police said criminal charges for violations of Sections 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are now being prepared for filing before the appropriate court.
The arrested suspects are currently under the custody of the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station while undergoing documentation and other legal procedures pending the filing of charges.
The successful operation highlights the continued collaboration among local police, intelligence units, and mobile force personnel in intensifying anti-illegal drug campaigns across Bukidnon.
Following the operation, Bukidnon Police Provincial Director PCOL Navales lauded the operating teams for their dedication and professionalism in carrying out the mission.

The Bukidnon Police Provincial Office reiterated its commitment to sustaining aggressive anti-illegal drug operations in support of the Philippine National Police’s campaign against narcotics and to ensure safer communities throughout the province.
Police also encouraged the public to continue cooperating with law enforcement authorities by reporting illegal drug activities, emphasizing that community participation remains a vital component in the fight against illegal drugs.
