KALILANGAN, Bukidnon — December 13, 2025 — Authorities confiscated more than ₱1 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested two alleged drug personalities during a buy-bust operation conducted shortly after 3:00 a.m. on Saturday in Purok 1, Central Poblacion, Kalilangan, police said.
The suspects were identified only by their aliases “Abdul,” 28, and “Reboy,” 23, both residents of Barangay 3, Poblacion, Quezon, Bukidnon. Seized from their possession was a total of 159.47 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu), a quantity authorities said indicates high-level drug trafficking activity.
The operation was carried out by personnel of the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station as part of intensified anti-illegal drugs enforcement in the municipality. Police said the confiscated drugs have been secured and will undergo proper forensic examination.
The two suspects are currently under police custody and will face charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Police reiterated their commitment to sustain aggressive operations against illegal drugs, stressing that community cooperation remains vital in curbing the proliferation of narcotics in Bukidnon and nearby areas.
