DAVAO CITY – Authorities arrested three individuals in two separate anti-drug operations that led to the seizure of shabu worth approximately ₱2.3 million, early Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
The first operation occurred around 2:00 AM in Keith Williams Subdivision, Barangay Catalunan Pequeño, where operatives from law enforcement units caught two suspects in a buy-bust operation. The arrested individuals were identified only by their aliases — “Bords,” a resident of Astorga, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur and listed as the Top 9 drug personality in Region 11, and “Kenkyle” from Relocation, Tugbok.
Meanwhile, in a separate drug sting conducted at around 8:35 PM on Tuesday, June 17, authorities apprehended another suspect, alias “Kols,” at Gulfview Subdivision in Barangay Bago Aplaya.
The total confiscated illegal drugs were estimated to be worth ₱2.3 million.
All three suspects are now facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Authorities continue to intensify anti-drug operations across the region in line with the government’s campaign against illegal drugs.
