ZAMBOANGA CITY — An 11-year-old boy died after he was reportedly electrocuted by a live electrical wire in Sierra Alto, Barangay Bolong, Zamboanga City, on the evening of September 1, 2026.
According to the initial report, the boy was reportedly looking for a spider when he accidentally came into contact with a live wire, resulting in a severe electric shock.

Punong Barangay Ruben Coros of Barangay Bolong confirmed the incident and said the victim had reportedly been trying to find a way out after encountering the electrical wire.
