DAVAO CITY — Police authorities arrested a regional priority drug target and seized over ₱408,000 worth of suspected shabu in a successful buy-bust operation conducted early morning of November 4, 2025, in Barangay 15-B, Davao City.

The suspect, identified only as alias “Badrudin” or “Hamad,” 34 years old, and a resident of Mamasapano, Maguindanao, was apprehended around 2:25 a.m. during an entrapment operation led by the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 11 (RPDEU XI), and the Sta. Ana Police Station.

Authorities recovered several sachets of suspected shabu from the suspect with an estimated street value of ₱408,000, along with the buy-bust money, an Oppo cellphone, a sling bag, a key, and a Yamaha NMAX motorcycle reportedly used in the illegal transaction.

Police identified the suspect as Regional Priority Target No. 4 in the anti-illegal drugs watchlist. He is now detained at the Sta. Ana Police Station and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Law enforcement officials lauded the coordinated effort of the anti-drug units, emphasizing their continued campaign to dismantle drug networks operating in the region and ensure the safety of Davao City communities.
