A 52-year-old teacher facing multiple child abuse charges was arrested by police in a targeted operation on the afternoon of November 24, 2025, in Purok 4, Barangay 1, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
The suspect, known as Teacher Alex, married and a resident of Paglaum Phase 2, Barangay Casisang, was tagged as the Top 2 Most Wanted Person at the city level. Authorities served a Warrant of Arrest for five counts of Lascivious Conduct under Section 5 of Republic Act 7610, as amended by RA 11648. Each count carries a recommended bail of ₱180,000, totaling ₱900,000.
The charges are docketed under Criminal Case Nos. 47221-25, 47222-25, 47223-25, 47224-25, and 47225-25.
Personnel of the Malaybalay City Police Station, led by PLTCOL Joepet B. Paglinawan, executed the operation that resulted in the suspect’s swift arrest. He is now under police custody for documentation and further legal processing.
