Camp Sgt. Quintin M. Merecido, Buhangin, Davao City – The Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) continues to intensify its anti-illegal drug campaign as part of its commitment to keeping communities safe across the Davao Region.

From June 30 to July 6, 2025, PRO 11 conducted a total of 86 anti-drug operations, including buy-busts, service of arrest warrants, implementation of search warrants, checkpoints, and immediate police responses. These efforts led to the seizure of illegal drugs valued at PHP 3,023,011.28, including shabu and marijuana.

Acting Regional Director PBGEN Joseph R. Arguelles lauded the efforts of police units for their relentless drive to combat drug-related crimes. The week-long operations also resulted in the arrest of 99 individuals, comprising 20 High-Value Individuals (HVIs) and 79 Street-Level Individuals (SLIs).

“These arrests are a testament to our sustained effort to eradicate illegal drugs and protect our communities from their destructive impact,” Arguelles said.

PRO 11’s campaign aligns with the strategic direction of PNP Chief, PGEN Nicolas D. Torre III, who has emphasized a holistic and community-based approach to addressing illegal drugs while ensuring accountability and justice.

As operations continue across the region, PRO 11 reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to its mission to serve and protect the people of Davao and ensure that justice is served to those affected by the scourge of illegal drugs.
