Camp Sgt. Quintin M. Merecido, Buhangin, Davao City – The Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) has reported major gains in its anti-illegal drug campaign following a week-long series of intensified operations across the Davao Region.

From May 12 to 18, 2025, PRO 11, under the leadership of Regional Director Police Brigadier General Leon Victor Z. Rosete, carried out 37 coordinated operations, including buy-bust operations, service of arrest and search warrants, checkpoints, and rapid police responses.

These efforts led to the confiscation of a total of 239.9879 grams of shabu valued at ₱1,631,917.72 and 34.3 grams of marijuana worth ₱4,116.00, based on the Standard Drug Price. Authorities also apprehended 45 individuals involved in the illegal drug trade, composed of 11 High-Value Individuals (HVIs) and 34 Street-Level Individuals (SLIs).

PBGEN Rosete lauded the operatives for their dedication, saying, “These results reflect the relentless efforts of our personnel in ensuring that our communities are safe from the harmful influence of illegal drugs. We won’t back down in our campaign.”

The operations form part of PRO 11’s continuous support for the national anti-drug strategy and underscore the unit’s commitment to the directives of PNP Chief Police General Rommel Francisco D. Marbil. The approach highlights a holistic and sustained effort to dismantle drug networks and achieve the shared goal of a drug-free Philippines.

PRO 11 remains steadfast in its mandate to uphold public safety and maintain peace and order throughout the region.
