Valencia City, Bukidnon – A joint buy-bust operation conducted by law enforcement authorities in Barangay Tongan-Tongan, Valencia City, on February 26, 2025, resulted in the arrest of two individuals suspected of involvement in illegal drug activities.
The operation, led by the Valencia City Police Station in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office X (PDEA RO-X) Bukidnon Provincial Office, the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 10 (PDEU 10), and the Bukidnon Police Intelligence Unit (PIU), targeted newly identified drug personalities.
The suspects, identified as Alias Arnel, 36, and Alias Jenjen, 33, were apprehended after being found in possession of 40.5 grams of suspected shabu. The confiscated drugs have an estimated street value of Php 275,400.00.
Authorities are preparing charges against the suspects for violations of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Law enforcement officials reiterated their commitment to intensifying anti-drug operations to curb illegal drug activities and ensure safer communities in Bukidnon and the rest of the region.
