Davao City – The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) continues its unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the city through relentless anti-illegal drug operations. Under the leadership of Acting City Director PCOL Hansel M. Marantan, DCPO has successfully conducted multiple operations over the past three days, leading to significant arrests and drug confiscations.
With strong support from the community and local government, DCPO has actively pursued intelligence-driven operations to combat the proliferation of illegal drugs. From March 18 to March 20, police stations across the city conducted a total of 11 anti-drug operations, resulting in the arrest of 11 drug suspects and the confiscation of illegal drugs valued at over Php 223,970.40.
March 20 Operations: Three separate anti-illegal drug operations led to the arrest of three drug personalities and the confiscation of Shabu valued at Php 88,060.00. The police stations involved were:
- PS1-Sta. Ana – Shabu worth Php 11,560.00
- PS2-San Pedro – Shabu worth Php 21,420.00
- PS15-Ecoland – Shabu worth Php 55,080.00
March 19 Operations: Three drug operations led to the apprehension of three individuals and the seizure of Shabu and Marijuana valued at Php 35,322.40:
- PS6-Bunawan – Marijuana worth Php 868.80
- PS10-Calinan – Marijuana worth Php 453.60
- PS18-Bajada – Shabu worth Php 34,000.00
March 18 Operations: Five separate drug operations resulted in the arrest of five individuals and the confiscation of illegal drugs worth Php 100,588.00:
- PS1-Sta. Ana – Shabu worth Php 11,560.00
- PS3-Talomo – Shabu worth Php 1,224.00
- PS6-Bunawan – Shabu worth Php 1,564.00
- PS9-Tugbok – Marijuana worth Php 18,240.00
- PS13-Mandug – Shabu worth Php 68,000.00
