General Santos City – In a successful law enforcement operation, authorities apprehended alias “Corazon,” a 26-year-old resident of Zone 6, Block 1, Barangay Fatima, General Santos City, who is listed as the Top 10 Most Wanted Person at the Regional Level.
Alias “Corazon” was arrested on February 8, 2025, at approximately 7:02 PM at Purok 11-A, Fil-Am Avenue, Barangay Fatima, General Santos City. The operation was jointly conducted by personnel from Police Station 7, General Santos City Police Office, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 12 Intelligence Section, General Santos City Maritime Police Station, and the General Santos City Highway Patrol Team.
The arrest was made by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Sections 11 and 12, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), issued by RTC Branch 58, General Santos City, on December 23, 2024, with no bail recommended.
Following the arrest, alias “Corazon” was taken to Police Station 7 for proper documentation and disposition.
Police Brigadier General Arnold P. Ardiente, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 12, commended the joint efforts of the operating units in successfully apprehending the wanted person.
“This arrest testifies to our relentless campaign against illegal drugs and criminality. We remain steadfast in our duty to ensure the safety and security of our communities. I urge everyone to continue supporting our law enforcement initiatives,” PBGEN Ardiente stated.
