Davao City, Philippines – The Davao City Police Office (DCPO), under the leadership of Acting City Director PCOL Hansel M. Over the course of two consecutive days, January 3-4 and January 4-5, the DCPO conducted a series of anti-illegal drug operations, achieving significant results in the city’s fight against illegal drugs.
January 4-5 Operations
Within a span of 24 hours, the DCPO conducted six anti-illegal drug operations, leading to the apprehension of eight drug personalities and the confiscation of illegal substances valued at Php 256,564.00. The operations, executed with precision and dedication, were carried out by various police stations and the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU):
- PS3-Talomo Pedro: Shabu seized worth Php 884.00.
- PS6-Bunawan: Shabu seized worth Php 4,080.00.
- PS15-Ecoland: Shabu seized worth Php 214,880.00.
- PS16-Maa: Shabu seized worth Php 2,778.00.
- PS18-Bajada: Shabu seized worth Php 6,800.00.
- CDEU: Shabu seized worth Php 29,920.00.
January 3-4 Operations
Similarly, on January 3-4, the DCPO carried out eight anti-illegal drug operations. These efforts resulted in the arrest of nine drug personalities and the confiscation of illegal drugs, including Shabu and Marijuana, with a total value of Php 78,323.68:
- PS1-Sta Ana: Marijuana leaves worth Php 973.20.
- PS2-San Pedro: Shabu worth Php 6,800.00.
- PS8-Toril: Shabu worth Php 35,360.00.
- PS9-Tugbok: Marijuana leaves worth Php 1,530.48.
- PS16-Maa: Shabu worth Php 2,778.00.
- PS17-Baliok: Shabu worth Php 28,152.00.
- CDEU: Shabu worth Php 2,720.00.
