Mindanao braces for cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms as a Low-Pressure Area (LPA) continues to affect the region.
As of 3:00 AM today, the LPA, previously named “Querubin,” was located over the coastal waters of Mahinog, Camiguin (9.2°N, 124.8°E), according to PAGASA’s latest regional weather forecast. The disturbance is expected to bring scattered rains and thunderstorms across Mindanao.
The weather bureau advises residents to expect light to moderate winds coming from the southeast to northeast, with coastal waters ranging from slight to moderate, at 0.6 to 2.5 meters.
