Davao City, Philippines — The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) led by Acting City Director Police Colonel Hansel M. Marantan, has successfully intensified its anti-drug campaign, carrying out 13 operations in just 24 hours across various stations in the city. These efforts, aimed at curbing illegal drug activities and safeguarding public safety, resulted in the apprehension of 13 suspects, including one Child in Conflict with the Law (CICL), and the seizure of illegal drugs valued at approximately ₱205,236.80.
With strong community support and information from vigilant citizens, DCPO’s operations spanned multiple locations, yielding significant results. Confiscated substances primarily included shabu and marijuana with estimated standard drug prices (SDP) as follows:
- PS1 Sta. Ana: Confiscated marijuana leaves worth ₱210.00 and shabu valued at ₱2,492.00.
- PS2 San Pedro: Seized shabu with an SDP of ₱3,264.00.
- PS6 Bunawan: Recovered shabu worth ₱18,088.00.
- PS8 Toril: Confiscated shabu worth a total of ₱34,136.00 in two separate operations.
- PS9 Tugbok: Retrieved shabu with an SDP of ₱3,610.80.
- PS15 Ecoland: Seized shabu valued at ₱54,536.00.
- PS18 Bajada: Confiscated shabu with an SDP of ₱5,032.00.
- PS19 Eden: Retrieved shabu valued at ₱2,244.00.
- City Drug Enforcement Unit: Conducted a significant seizure with shabu worth ₱21,624.00.
