PSO Mindanao Joins MinDA’s TEAM Program Consultation to Boost Agribusiness Value Chains

Mindanao — The Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) Mindanao Project Support Office (PSO Mindanao), represented by Deputy Project Director Carlene C. Collado, CPA, participated in a key consultation meeting hosted by the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) for its Transformational Enterprise Support for the Agribusiness Value-Chain of Mindanao (TEAM) Program. This collaboration underscores PSO Mindanao’s commitment to promoting economic growth through stronger agricultural partnerships and value chains across the region.

The TEAM Program is designed to enhance trade, market linkages, and economic networks, ultimately driving agricultural production and supporting value-added processes in key sectors. By strengthening these agribusiness value chains, the initiative aims to improve food security and ensure economic stability for Mindanao, while empowering local farmers and agribusinesses to compete in both domestic and international markets.

PSO Mindanao’s participation aligns with its broader mission under the PRDP Scale-Up, which focuses on building resilient agricultural value chains that uplift farming communities. This collaboration between PSO Mindanao and MinDA is expected to stimulate economic growth, create more job opportunities, and advance rural development initiatives throughout the island.

The TEAM Program, through its focus on sustainable agricultural development, is anticipated to yield long-term positive impacts for farmers, agribusiness owners, and rural communities, paving the way for Mindanao’s continued economic progress and resilience.

With PSO Mindanao and MinDA working in close coordination, the region is poised for significant advancements in integrated agricultural development, ensuring a more prosperous and resilient future for Mindanao’s agribusiness sector.
