Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte — On October 2, 2024, eight individuals celebrated the completion of the reformation program at the Balay Silangan Reformation Center, marking the culmination of a transformative journey aimed at reintegrating them into society. The program, which offers a structured pathway for individuals previously involved in illegal drug activities, equips participants with vital skills for a fresh start in life.
The reformation process is a multi-faceted approach that includes comprehensive training, livelihood opportunities, and values formation. These elements are designed to provide participants with the tools needed to rebuild their lives, fostering both personal growth and community involvement.
RD Maharani R. Gadaoni-Tosoc was present at the event, recognizing the efforts of the reformists, as well as the local government and stakeholders whose collaboration made the program a success.
