A female teacher was arrested by joint operatives of PDEA- Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Office, Ipil Municipal Police Station, and 903rd Mobile Company, Regional Mobile Force Batallion 9 during a buy-bust operation on September 6, 2024, around 7:25PM at Purok Masigla, Brgy. Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
The arrested suspect was identified as Gemma Lahaman Isnain, 59 years old, female, married, college graduate, a teacher, and a resident of Brgy. Kong-Kong, Laminusa, Siasi, Sulu.
Seized from the suspect were three (3) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 150 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of Php1,020,000.00, buy-bust money, cellular phone, bank and remittance transaction receipts, identification cards, coin purse, paper and a plastic bag, envelopes, and transparent plastic sachets.
A case for violation of Section 5, Article II of RA 9165 will be filed in court againt the suspect.
