A drug den was dismantled by joint elements of PDEA ROIX-Zamboanga City Office, Technical Support Company-Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Zamboanga City Field Unit, and Zamboanga City Police Station 8 during a buy-bust operation conducted on September 6, 2024, around 6:36PM at Kapatid Drive, Brgy. Sinunuc, Zamboanga City.
Said operation also resulted in the arrest of three drug personalities identified as Jayson Principil y Llequera a.k.a “lando/uncle, 49 years old, male, married, elementary undergraduate, unemployed; Jacob Principil y Llequera, 46 years old, male, married, elementary level, laborer; and Jayhard Principil y San Luis, 24 years old, male, single, elementary graduate, laborer, all residents of Kapatid Drive, Brgy. Sinunuc, Zamboanga City.
Confiscated from the suspects were four (4) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets weighing more or less five (5) grams of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of PhP34,000.00, seven (7) pieces open-ended transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance residue, three (3) aluminum foil strips with redidue, several drug paraphernalia, coin purse, buy-bust money, plastic containers, and coins amounting to Php39.00.
The suspects will be charged in court for violation of Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, 13 and 14, Article II of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
