CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City – In a successful operation, the Tagoloan Municipal Police Station (MPS) apprehended a drug suspect and seized approximately 59.5 grams of suspected shabu in Zone 2, Natumolan, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental on September 7, 2024.
The suspect, identified as alias “Kaironesah,” is a 22-year-old student and resident of Zone 10, Sihayon, Sta. Cruz, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. During the operation, police confiscated six small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu. The seized drugs have a Standard Drug Price of PHP 404,600.00. Additionally, a motorcycle and a PHP 500.00 bill used as buy-bust money were also recovered.
The suspect is currently under the custody of Tagoloan MPS, Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office, for proper disposition. Formal charges for violations of Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against the suspect.
PBGEN Ricardo G. Layug Jr., Regional Director of PRO10, commended the operating units for their diligence and dedication to the campaign against illegal drugs. “Our relentless efforts to combat illegal drugs have resulted in another successful operation.
