A regional target-listed drug personality was arrested by the joint elements of PDEA ROIX-Regional Special Enforcement Team, Regional Intelligence Division 9, Zamboanga del Sur 1st Police Mobile Force Company, 902nd Mobile Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9, and Aurora Municipal Police Station during a buy-bust operation conducted later today, September 04, 2024 around 5:05PM at Purok Maharlika, Barangay Romarate, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur.
The arrested suspect was identified as Jeriel Arnaiz y Meñoza a.k.a. “Jeryl”, listed as regional target, 46 years old, male, married, high school level, driver and a resident of Brgy. Dipolo, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.
Confiscated from the suspect were one (1) knot-tied transparent plastic bag containing more or less 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of PhP340,000.00, a red cigarette pack, a white envelope, a Suzuki Raider motorcycle and key, android phone, and the buy-bust money.
The suspect will be charged in court for violation of Section 5, Article II of R.A. No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
