PDEA ROIX-Regional Special Enforcement Team, PDEA ROIX-Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Office, Regional Intelligence Division 9, Zamboanga del Sur 1st Police Mobile Force Company, 902nd Mobile Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9, and Aurora Municipal Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation on September 02, 2024, around 1:05PM at Purok 1 Matinabangon, Barangay Anonang, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur which resulted in the arrest of two drug personalities and confiscation of illegal drugs.
Arrested during the operation were Haiden Macasalong y Lumambas, 23 years old, male, married, elementary level, farmer and a resident of Brgy. Patidon, Salvador, Lanao del Norte, and Jomair Amanodin y Kasanguan, 18 years old, male, single, farmer, and a resident of Brgy. Banday, Malabang, Lanao del Sur.
Confiscated were one (1) knot-tied transparent plastic bag containing more or less 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of PhP340,000.00, One (1) unit black Cal 45 pistol, magazine, live ammunition of Cal 45 pistol, One (1) pc Suzuki mini van and key, Android phones, and the buy-bust money.
Cases for violation of Section 5, Article II of R.A. No. 9165, and R.A. No. 10591 are being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.
