ZAMBOANGA CITY — Two individuals identified by authorities as high-value individuals were arrested after law enforcement operatives seized approximately 150 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of ₱1.02 million during an anti-illegal drug operation in Barangay Ayala, Zamboanga City.
The operation was carried out by personnel of the Special Operations Unit 9 of the PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-PDEG), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO).
Authorities said the operation resulted in the arrest of the two suspects and the recovery of the suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu.
The seized substance was placed at an estimated ₱1.02 million based on the standard drug price cited by authorities, underscoring the scale of the alleged drug activity targeted by the operation.
The suspects were identified by law enforcement as high-value individuals, although authorities did not immediately provide additional details on their alleged roles, identities, or previous involvement in illegal drug activities.
