ALORAN, Misamis Occidental — Four individuals were arrested during a successful anti-drug operation conducted on April 8, 2025, in Barangay Zamora, Aloran, Misamis Occidental.
Authorities identified the suspects only by their aliases as Grace, believed to be the maintainer of the drug den; Brian and Denmark, both residents of Brgy. Zamora; and Virginia, a resident of Taboc Sur, Oroquieta City.
The joint buy-bust operation led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 10 (PDEA RO-10), in coordination with the Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit (PPDEU), Aloran Municipal Police Station (MPS), and the Misamis Occidental 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (MARPSTA), resulted in the seizure of approximately 8 grams of suspected shabu. The confiscated drugs have an estimated street value of PHP 54,400.
The suspects are now in custody and will be facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
PDEA RO-10 reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying its campaign against illegal drugs and ensuring a drug-free Northern Mindanao.
