Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental – Authorities apprehended a target-listed drug personality in a buy-bust operation conducted on February 25, 2025, in Lower Lamac, Oroquieta City. The operation resulted in the confiscation of 1.5 grams of shabu, with an estimated street value of ₱10,200.00.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 10 (PDEA RO10) – Misamis Occidental, along with its Interdiction Unit, carried out the operation in coordination with the Oroquieta City Police Station and the Misamis Occidental Maritime Police Station.
The suspect, identified as Alias Patok, 41, a resident of Lower Lamac, Oroquieta City, was taken into custody. He will face charges for violating Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Authorities continue to intensify anti-drug operations in the province to combat the proliferation of illegal substances and apprehend individuals involved in the drug trade. The public is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the proper authorities.
