Davao City, January 2, 2025 — The Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) has announced that all 861 personnel who underwent a surprise drug test have tested negative for illegal drug use.
The random drug testing was conducted across various Police Provincial Offices under PRO 11 as part of the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) intensified internal cleansing program. The initiative highlights the PNP’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of discipline, professionalism, and integrity within its ranks.
PBGEN Leon Victor Z. Rosete, Regional Director of PRO 11, commended the personnel for their adherence to the core values of the organization. “The negative results affirm the readiness and commitment of our personnel to remain trustworthy public servants. We will continue to uphold the internal cleansing program to preserve the integrity of our ranks,” he said.
PGEN Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, Chief of the Philippine National Police, also emphasized the importance of maintaining the force’s integrity, ensuring that every member stays true to their oath of service to the Filipino people.
The drug testing initiative is part of the PNP’s broader strategy to promote a drug-free workplace, instill accountability, and strengthen public trust.
