Rosete, continues to make significant progress in its intensified campaign against illegal drugs, showcasing remarkable accomplishments throughout December 2024.

In a concerted effort to eradicate illegal drugs in the region, PRO 11 carried out 271 anti-illegal drug operations. These included buy-bust operations, service of search warrants, arrests through warrants, inflagrante delicto apprehensions, marijuana eradication drives, checkpoint operations, and various police responses. The operations also led to the arrest of 307 drug personalities, including 27 High-Value Individuals (HVIs) and 280 Street-Level Individuals (SLIs). In pursuit of justice, PRO 11 filed 280 cases in court stemming from these successful interventions.

PBGEN Rosete commended the dedication and tireless efforts of the PRO 11 personnel in combating the proliferation of illegal drugs, emphasizing that these achievements reflect the commitment of the police force to ensure the safety and well-being of every Davaoeño. “Their dedication to duty, courage, and integrity have brought us closer to our goal of a safer and drug-free Davao Region,” he said. “Let us sustain this momentum as we continue to work in service of the Filipino people. My heartfelt thanks also go to our community partners for their unwavering support in this endeavor.”

These accomplishments align with the strategic framework of PGEN Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, Chief of the Philippine National Police, which focuses on intensifying efforts against illegal drugs while upholding a humane and rights-based approach.

PRO 11’s success underscores the importance of a collaborative approach, as community partners play a pivotal role in supporting the campaign. The PNP calls on the public to provide information that could aid in identifying and apprehending individuals involved in illegal drug activities.

As PRO 11 continues its relentless pursuit of a drug-free society, the agency reiterates its steadfast commitment to its anti-illegal drugs campaign and its mission to safeguard the Davao Region from the scourge of illegal drugs.
