SULTAN KUDARAT, Maguindanao del Norte — Authorities discovered the lifeless body of an unidentified man early Sunday morning, September 28, 2025, in a grassy area along the Diversion Road in Barangay Rebuken.
The grisly discovery was made around 6:00 a.m. According to initial police reports, the victim’s hands and feet were tightly bound with duct tape. His head was covered with a blue t-shirt wrapped in tape, suggesting he may have suffered a violent death.
Beside the body, investigators also found a cardboard sign bearing the words “asset ako”, hinting at a possible execution-style killing.
Police said the victim remains unidentified as of this writing. Investigators from the Sultan Kudarat Municipal Police are now working to determine his identity, the motive behind the crime, and the individuals responsible.
Authorities have appealed to the public to come forward with any information that may help in identifying the victim or tracking down the perpetrators.
