Personnel of the El Salvador City Police Station, Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office, arrested two siblings and seized an estimated ₱1,020,000 worth of suspected shabu during a search warrant operation in Barangay Molugan, El Salvador City, on September 17, 2025.

The suspects were identified as alias “Junior,” 49, married, and alias “Nana,” 58, single, both residents of the said barangay. Authorities said the two are first-time offenders, allegedly sourcing their supply from fellow El Salvador City residents. They reportedly sold to neighbors, friends, and other acquaintances.

Confiscated during the operation were six large heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 150 grams, along with various drug paraphernalia.

The suspects and seized evidence are now in the custody of the El Salvador City Police Station for proper disposition.

Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) Regional Director PBGEN Rolindo M. Suguilon praised the operatives for their dedication, stressing the organization’s continuing campaign against illegal drugs.

“This successful operation is a clear manifestation of our unwavering commitment to rid our communities of illegal drugs. We will continue to intensify our anti-drug efforts in close coordination with PDEA and our partner agencies to ensure that Northern Mindanao remains a safe and drug-free region,” Suguilon said.
