KALILANGAN, BUKIDNON — A total of four individuals were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations conducted by personnel of the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station in coordination with the Bukidnon Police Intelligence Unit on May 28 and 29, 2025.
The first operation took place on May 28 at around 9:23 PM in Purok 2, Kinura, Poblacion, Kalilangan. Authorities apprehended a 60-year-old female resident of North Poblacion, Maramag, and a 36-year-old male liaison officer of a financing company based in North Poblacion, Bukidnon. Seized during the operation were an estimated 33.94 grams of suspected shabu, with a standard drug price value of Php 230,792.00.
A follow-up operation was conducted hours later, at around 3:49 AM on May 29, in Purok 2, Cogo, Barangay Maca-opao, Kalilangan. This led to the arrest of two male suspects from Don Carlos, Bukidnon. Confiscated from the suspects was approximately 76 grams of suspected shabu, valued at Php 516,800.00.
All arrested individuals and the seized items were brought to the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station for documentation and processing. The confiscated substances will be submitted to the Provincial Forensic Unit for qualitative and quantitative examination.
Cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the suspects.
