DAVAO CITY — Authorities are now tracking down three “persons of interest” believed to be behind a rental scam that led to the disappearance of two high-end vehicles on December 15 between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

According to reports, the suspects rented a white Toyota Fortuner Q 2025 (with plate number LAP 1903) from Zamora Liners Car Rental, and a silver Nissan Terra 2025 (with plate number VH755A) from Kates Land Transport, before vanishing without a trace.

Police identified the suspects as:

  • Dexter Jhon Pedrajas, also known as “DEj Ay”
  • Queenny Dancel Alcantara, who allegedly used a fake driver’s license under the name Juliana Marquez
  • Charles Mike Abrilla, who reportedly used the alias Joshua Miguel De Vera

Investigators later discovered that the GPS tracking devices attached to both vehicles were forcibly removed in Mintal, prompting authorities to place the vehicles under a nationwide alert. All Highway Patrol Group (HPG) and Philippine National Police (PNP) stations have been notified to intercept the stolen units.
