Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental — Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) scored a major victory in the campaign against illegal drugs after confiscating more than ₱3 million worth of suspected shabu during a search warrant operation on Saturday night, November 16, 2025.
At around 8:17 PM, personnel from the Tagoloan Municipal Police Station, Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office, and the 1st PMFC-MORPPO implemented Search Warrant No. SWA-110725-865 in Sta. Cruz, Tagoloan. The operation led to the arrest of a high-value target identified only as alias “Leo,” 45, a warehouse helper and local resident.
Police said the suspect is believed to be one of the sources of illegal drugs in the barangay. This is reportedly his second drug-related offense, with his earlier case resulting in probation.
Recovered during the search were 19 heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing roughly 450 grams, with an estimated Standard Drug Price of ₱3,060,000, along with various drug paraphernalia.
The suspect and all confiscated items were brought to Tagoloan MPS for proper documentation. He will be facing charges under Sections 11 and 12, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
PRO10 Regional Director PBGEN Christopher N. Abrahano praised the team for the successful operation.
“I commend the Tagoloan MPS for the successful implementation of the search warrant. PRO10 remains steadfast in pursuing drug personalities and dismantling drug networks operating in the region,” he said.
He also urged the public to remain vigilant and support authorities by reporting information that could help curb illegal drug activity.
The operation sends a clear message: drug syndicates will be relentlessly pursued, and communities will be safeguarded.
