EL SALVADOR CITY, Misamis Oriental — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued a weather advisory for Mindanao as a Low Pressure Area (LPA) east of Pag-asa Island, Kalayaan, Palawan continues to influence weather patterns across the southern Philippines.

As of 3:00 PM Tuesday, the LPA was estimated at 250 kilometers east of Pag-asa Island (10.9°N, 116.8°E). The system is embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), which is currently affecting Mindanao, bringing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms over most areas.
