Valencia City, Bukidnon — Four individuals, including a person with disability (PWD), were arrested in separate anti-drug operations conducted by authorities in Valencia City on August 2 and 3, 2025.

On August 3, at around 2:32 p.m., a buy-bust operation was carried out in Purok 2, Barangay Sinayawan, led by the Valencia City Police Station, in coordination with the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU 10), City Anti-Drug and Special Unit Team (CADSUT) under the City Mayor’s Office, and the Provincial Intelligence Unit.

Apprehended were two 24-year-old men from Barangay Tongan-tongan and a 38-year-old resident of Barangay Sinayawan. Authorities confiscated an estimated ₱53,040 worth of suspected shabu along with other pieces of evidence.

A day earlier, on August 2 at 4:16 p.m., another buy-bust operation was conducted in Dabongdabong, Barangay Mailag, targeting a 25-year-old male suspect who is reportedly a PWD. The joint police operation, also led by the Valencia City Police Station and CADSUT, resulted in the seizure of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱316,880.

All four suspects are now in police custody and will face appropriate legal charges.

Valencia City Mayor Amie Galario reaffirmed her administration’s full support for all initiatives aimed at curbing illegal drugs and criminality, emphasizing the city’s continued commitment to fostering peace and order in the community.
