Valencia City, Bukidnon – June 1, 2025 — Authorities arrested three individuals and dismantled a suspected drug den in Barangay Vintar during a buy-bust operation led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 10 (PDEA RO10) on May 31.
In coordination with the Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit and the Valencia City Police Station, PDEA operatives apprehended three drug personalities identified by their aliases: “Joseph,” 39, alleged maintainer of the drug den and a resident of Brgy. Vintar; “Jake,” 37, also of Brgy. Vintar; and “Alejandre,” 67, of Brgy. Kahapunan. Jake and Alejandre were reportedly caught as visitors inside the suspected drug den.
PDEA RO10 Regional Director Atty. Benjamin G. Gaspi confirmed that the operation also led to the confiscation of approximately 11.05 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of Php 78,200.
The suspects are facing charges for violation of Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
