The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has released its regional weather forecast for Mindanao, warning residents of scattered rains and thunderstorms, particularly in the Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi due to the Trough of a Low Pressure Area (LPA). Moderate to heavy rains may trigger flash floods or landslides in these areas. The rest of Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by Easterlies.
