In a significant move to bolster collaboration between the provincial government of Cotabato and the Department of Agriculture (DA) in research, development, and extension services, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was officially signed on Thursday, February 20, 2025. The signing ceremony took place at Agua Frio Resort, Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Koronadal City, marking a milestone in agricultural progress for the region.
The event was attended by key officials from DA Region XII, led by Regional Executive Director Roberto T. Perales. In his message, Director Perales expressed his gratitude to the Cotabato provincial government for its commitment to supporting DA programs. Representing Cotabato Governor Lala Taliño-Mendoza at the signing was Acting Provincial Agriculturist Elena Ragonton. Ragonton also extended her appreciation to the national government for its continued support of the province’s agricultural sector, acknowledging President Ferdinand R.
