Compostela, Davao de Oro – Law enforcement personnel from the Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office successfully implemented a search warrant in Barangay Poblacion, Compostela, resulting in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of suspected illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and firearms.
The operation targeted the residence of alias “Dindo,” a High-Value Individual (HVI) drug personality, for violations of Republic Act (RA) 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Officers recovered multiple heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, along with several firearms, including an assault rifle and handguns.
Authorities ensured strict adherence to legal procedures during the operation, with insulating witnesses present to oversee the proper documentation, tagging, and inventory of all recovered items on-site. The arrested individuals include alias “Dindo” and two others classified as Street-Level Individuals (SLI), all of whom face charges for violations of RA 9165 and RA 10591, the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office reaffirmed its commitment to the intensified campaign against illegal drugs and other criminal activities. Authorities encourage the public to report any suspicious activities in their communities to help maintain peace and order.
