SOCCSKSARGEN – Police Regional Office 12 (PRO 12) has announced a major breakthrough in its ongoing campaign against illegal drugs, with the seizure of 8,897.98 grams of illegal substances valued at Php 60,506,264.00 in 2024. This achievement underscores the region’s intensified efforts to curb drug-related activities and safeguard communities.

In addition to the confiscation of illegal drugs, PRO 12 operatives intercepted 601.2 grams of illegal marijuana, estimated to be worth Php 72,134.40. Furthermore, authorities uprooted 6,800 marijuana plants with a combined street value of Php 1,360,000.00. These operations led to the arrest of 122 suspects, carried out during 1,122 successful anti-illegal drug operations throughout the year.

PBGEN Arnold P. Ardiente, Officer-In-Charge of PRO 12, lauded the relentless efforts of the region’s law enforcement personnel. “These accomplishments highlight our commitment to freeing our communities from the grip of illegal drugs. Our campaign to combat the drug trade is firmly rooted in respect for human rights, proving that it’s possible to dismantle drug syndicates while upholding life and dignity,” he stated.

PBGEN Ardiente emphasized that the ongoing anti-narcotics campaign aims to prioritize the safety and well-being of the people in SOCCSKSARGEN. “We remain dedicated to creating a safer, healthier environment for all,” he added.

The successful operations of PRO 12 reflect the agency’s strategic planning and collaboration with community stakeholders, showcasing the region’s commitment to a drug-free society.
