Polomolok, South Cotabato — An intensified campaign against illegal drugs led to the seizure of 50.40 grams of suspected shabu, valued at Php 342,720.00 based on the National Standard Drug Price (NSDP), during a successful buy-bust operation at Purok Masigla, Barangay Silway 8, on January 19, 2025.
The operation, conducted by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU) 12 in coordination with the Regional Intelligence Division (RID) 12, Polomolok Municipal Police Station, South Cotabato Police Provincial Office (SCPPO), and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 12, resulted in the arrest of a High-Value Individual (HVI). The suspect, identified by the alias “Dadi,” is a 31-year-old house painter and a resident of Purok Silway San Roque, Barangay Dadiangas West, General Santos City. Alongside the suspect, a female minor was also apprehended.
Authorities confiscated seven plastic sachets of suspected shabu and one Php 500 bill used as buy-bust money during the operation. Following the arrest, the suspect was brought to the Polomolok Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. The minor was handed over to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Polomolok for appropriate intervention. Meanwhile, the seized drug evidence was submitted to the South Cotabato Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for laboratory examination.

We are especially determined to shield our children from the dangers of these criminal activities, and we will never stop fighting to create safe, nurturing environments where our youth can grow up free from the harm of drugs,” he stated.
This successful operation underscores the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies in the relentless fight against illegal drugs in South Cotabato and neighboring areas.
