Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat – A concerted effort by the Police Regional Office (PRO) 12 and allied units successfully led to the arrest of two individuals listed as Top 10 Most Wanted Persons at the regional level. The operation was conducted on January 17, 2025, at Purok Baliwan, Barangay Pinguiaman, Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat.

Joint personnel from the 1202nd Maneuver Company (MC), Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 12, Sultan Kudarat Provincial Field Unit (PFU)-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) 12, and Tacurong City Police Station (CPS), Cotabato Provincial Police Office (CPPO), carried out the operation, code-named Manhunt Charlie. Their efforts culminated in the capture of two suspects, identified as alias “Ainie,” 60, and alias “Jim,” 55, both residents of Barangay Barurao, Sultan Sa Barongis, Maguindanao Del Sur.

The two suspects were apprehended based on a standing Warrant of Arrest for violating Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Authorities reported that the suspects are now under the custody of Sultan Kudarat PFU-CIDG 12 while awaiting their Commitment Order from the concerned court.

PBGEN Arnold P. Ardiente, Acting Regional Director of PRO 12, reaffirmed the police force’s dedication to maintaining peace and order in the region. “Police Regional Office 12 remains committed to its relentless efforts to uphold peace and order in the region, ensuring that those who violate the law are held accountable,” he stated.

The operation underscores PRO 12’s intensified campaign against lawlessness and criminality, marking another significant step towards safer communities in the region.
