The Drug Enforcement Units of the Davao del Norte Provincial Police Office (DNPPO) achieved significant success in their continuous anti-drug efforts during a series of operations conducted over three consecutive days.
From December 27 to December 30, 2024, the units carried out 11 successful operations, resulting in the arrest of 13 individuals and the confiscation of 5.7384 grams of shabu.
- December 27-28: Three operations led to the arrest of four individuals and the seizure of 2.0942 grams of shabu.
- December 28-29: Four operations resulted in five arrests and the confiscation of 1.5701 grams of shabu.
- December 29-30: Another four operations culminated in the arrest of four individuals and the recovery of 2.0741 grams of shabu.
PCOL Alexander R. Serrano Jr., Provincial Director of DNPPO, commended the dedication and diligence of the operating units involved in these successful missions. He reiterated Pulis DavNor’s unwavering commitment to eradicating illegal drug activities in Davao del Norte.
“We will never rest so long as there are illegal drug peddlers in our province. This battle requires the collective effort of law enforcement and the community,” Serrano emphasized. He called on the public to continue supporting the police by providing vital information that could lead to further successful operations.
He also urged parents to take an active role in safeguarding their children from the influence of illegal drugs, stressing the importance of family vigilance in protecting the next generation.
These operations highlight the relentless efforts of DNPPO in maintaining public safety and upholding the fight against illegal drugs in Davao del Norte.
