Sheila F. Livera, a coffee farmer from Barangay Sumbac, has been recognized as the 2nd Runner-Up in the Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Office XII’s Search for Regional Outstanding Women in Agriculture for Calendar Year 2024.

The DA lauded Livera’s dedication to producing high-quality coffee. Her efforts not only boosted the standards of her coffee production but also created livelihood opportunities for her workers involved in planting and processing the crop.

The agency highlighted her active participation in training programs aimed at enhancing the quality of her coffee, which has gained recognition for its excellence.

In addition to her award from the DA, Livera was honored by City Mayor Atty. Jose Paolo M. Evangelista during the city’s Flag Raising Ceremony on December 23, 2024. Mayor Evangelista commended her significant contributions to women empowerment and agricultural development.

Livera’s achievement reflects her commitment to uplifting her community through sustainable farming practices and empowering women in agriculture. Her success serves as an inspiration for other farmers in the region.
