Kidapawan City, Philippines — Tragedy struck on December 30 as a woman was discovered lifeless inside her vehicle in Paco 114, Barangay Binoligan. The victim, identified as Engineer Shiela Ramos Bautista, was a respected professor at a local school and a resident of Manongol, Kidapawan City.

Residents were alarmed after hearing a gunshot in the early afternoon. Upon investigation, they found the victim’s bloodied body inside her gray Toyota Fortuner with license plate number NCN-2291, parked along the roadside. Authorities from the Kidapawan City Police Station confirmed that Bautista sustained a fatal chest wound, suggesting she may have been shot or stabbed.

Police are currently conducting an in-depth investigation to determine the motive behind the killing. Bautista’s husband was also present at the crime scene, assisting authorities in their efforts to uncover possible leads.
