Residents Urged to Remain Alert During Thunderstorms

Although partly cloudy conditions are expected across Mindanao, PAGASA’s warning about possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms highlights the need for caution, particularly in communities near rivers, waterways and flood-prone areas, as well as settlements located along steep slopes.

Residents are encouraged to monitor official weather advisories, avoid crossing flooded roads and waterways, and follow evacuation instructions from local authorities when necessary.

Motorists should also exercise caution during heavy downpours, when reduced visibility and water accumulation can make road travel hazardous. Fisherfolk and operators of small vessels should remain mindful of the forecast slight to moderate sea conditions and changing weather near coastal areas.

The forecast was issued by PAGASA’s Mindanao Regional Services Division at 5 a.m. on November 3, 2026, and is valid until 5 a.m. on November 4.
