BAROY, Lanao del Norte — Authorities arrested a high-value individual (HVI) listed as Top 6 at the regional level after seizing approximately 30 grams of suspected shabu worth an estimated ₱204,000, along with a .38 caliber revolver, during a buy-bust operation on the evening of December 16, 2025 in Purok 2, Barangay Pange, this town.

The operation began at around 8:00 p.m. and concluded at 9:39 p.m., led by the Baroy Municipal Police Station with support from the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), 1005th Regional Mobile Force Battalion, Regional Intelligence Unit–LDN PIT, and the PDEA-10 Misamis Occidental Provincial Office. The operation was conducted in coordination with PDEA-10 under Pre-Operation No. 11-00-12162025-028.

Seized during the operation were several heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, including the buy-bust item and other possession items. Also recovered were two glass pipes used as improvised tooters, ₱200 in marked money, a container, and a .38 caliber revolver loaded with six rounds, along with a holster and a belt bag.

The arrested individual and all confiscated evidence are currently in the custody of the Baroy Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and the filing of appropriate charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
