CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 10 confiscated an estimated one kilogram of suspected shabu worth around ₱6.8 million during an anti-illegal drug operation conducted along Limketkai Drive, Barangay 35, on October 22, 2025.

According to PDEA-10, the operation successfully intercepted the target suspect, who was allegedly involved in large-scale drug distribution in Northern Mindanao. Authorities also seized a rented pickup vehicle reportedly used by the suspect in his illegal activities.

The suspect was identified as Camlon Pangandag, a resident of Barangay Malungun, Maguing, Lanao del Sur. Based on an identification card recovered at the scene, Pangandag is also a member of the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT).

PDEA officials stated that appropriate charges are now being prepared against the suspect while an ongoing investigation is underway to determine the source of the seized illegal drugs and identify other individuals possibly involved in the network.

PDEA Region 10 reaffirmed its commitment to intensify the government’s campaign against illegal drugs, emphasizing that operations will continue relentlessly to ensure the safety and well-being of communities across Northern Mindanao.
