KORONADAL CITY – Police are investigating another shooting incident that left a passenger dead in Purok Rizal, Barangay Concepcion, around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday, August 24.
According to the spot report, the unidentified victim had just alighted from a tricycle when three suspects approached and repeatedly shot him at close range. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds that caused his instant death.
The assailants immediately fled toward Barangay Concepcion after the attack. Authorities have yet to determine the motive behind the killing.
The Koronadal City Police are conducting a hot pursuit and dragnet operation to track down the suspects, while investigators continue to gather evidence and testimonies from witnesses.
