PANDAG, Maguindanao del Sur (October 30, 2025) — A man was killed on the spot after being shot multiple times by unidentified riding-in-tandem suspects along the provincial road in Barangay Kayupo, Pandag, Maguindanao del Sur, on Thursday evening.
Police identified the victim as Samsudin G. Minggay, of legal age and a resident of Paglat, Maguindanao del Sur.
Based on the initial investigation, Minggay was driving his blue Yamaha Aerox motorcycle along the Buluan–Pandag Provincial Road when two unidentified assailants on a black Bajaj motorcycle without a plate number appeared and opened fire without provocation.
The victim sustained fatal gunshot wounds to the head and abdomen, causing his immediate death at the scene.
Responding personnel from the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) recovered six spent shells from an unidentified firearm, which were submitted to the Regional Forensic Unit–BAR for ballistic examination.
Police units have launched a hot pursuit operation to track down the fleeing suspects, while investigators continue to determine the motive behind the attack.
